Older projects (Web Design)

These are projects in web design from when I started in the industry in 2008 until around 2010. None of these projects are live anymore, but in a mix of yearning and experience, I did decide to look back, and I can feel a little surprised by my talent by then. Additionally, I wanted to write about this with a touch of personality, so I had shown some of my personal experiences during these projects.

Here are some of the work:

Panaderia Marrero (Marrero’s Bakery): I practice here doing websites with real clients. Because (I was so young, inexperience and I did not know so much about psychology and social skills by then, these are some of these projects that took me a long into finish due to constant changes by the side of the customer. Definitely, I learn about projecting in my apprenticeship, however, I as a person did not like to say no often.

Guillermo Horta: This was a website for a friend by then, so I usually hang out with many artists in my hometown. About this website remember, to use JavaScript for the menu to light up when mouse over. Also, remember under the menu I was able to introduce a little unknown CMS I found online, so the artist can put their dates and next events.

Yoadivino: I remember this project made me very happy, so I was learning to implement CMS (Joomla) in design by following tutorials. I took a book I had about esoteric sciences by then, so it was a popular topic in my area, and by genuine of me, I was trying to make money with ads without any success.

PSOE Garachico: This is the local Spanish equivalent of the Labour Party that I volunteer for, so a friend of mine was a candidate for the local council and I decided to give a hand, in addition, to adding some experience to my CV and increasing my contacts. I leave clear, that try to be apolitical when I work and there is nothing related to my ideology. In this case, the design was not fully mine, but I did most of the integration.

Other projects with no pictures:

Loloi Art: This was another bad experience in project management. It took me a few months to leave this customer happy, and finally, he did not pay me. Lesson learned and since then I charge in front of some of the projects. However, I remember I took quite a lot of experience making Flash animations, and now seeing unlucky this is not so relevant in the sector anymore.
