About my portfolio

Project Overview:

I started working on a new portfolio with the aim of increasing my client base as a freelance developer and showcasing my work to potential employers. After researching what to include in my portfolio and finding design inspiration, I decided to challenge myself by imitating and improving a senior developer’s portfolio in order to learn new skills.

Design Approach:

To start, I simplified the project by creating 2-3 pages using HTML and the Bootstrap framework, with the added use of the Sass framework. Upon completion, I published the portfolio as HTML and included a contact form connected to Google’s re-captcha v.3.0. I learned how to create a full-page menu with JavaScript effects and added it to the website. During this project, I also gained experience with SVG images and made some effects to the website to make it more visually appealing, such as having the header image move to the top on mobile devices.

Key Features:

In addition to HTML, Bootstrap, and Sass, I learned how to create professional templates on WordPress and eventually converted the portfolio to a WordPress website for easier content management. I also added a meta box to the website to display project information and dates on the main page.

Technologies Used:

The technologies used in this project include HTML, Bootstrap, Sass, JavaScript, SVG images, WordPress, and Google re-captcha v.3.0.

Continued Work:

I am still working on the portfolio, continuously adding new effects and personalizing it even further.
